This bass is the benchmark for fretless Alembic bass tone. After making a handful of basses with this identical wood recipe, we're convinced that this produces some of the nicest fretless tones. With a default warm and round sound, it's effortless to make the perfect "mwaaaah" on this Rogue.

It's pretty much all due to the neck woods. With a primary wood of Mahogany, there's no chance of anything shrill coming out of this bass. Supported with Vermilion for a bit more focus on the deep end then a little zing of Ebony's supportive fundamental sustain and a touch of attack complete the sound.

This Rogue does not fall short in the looks department. Dark and mysterious Jarrah Burl graces the top and the peghead. To complement the black Ebony fingerboard, we've selected blackened brass hardware. A string of red and amber LEDs light the side of the neck for easy on-stage navigating, and tiny inlaid lines mark the positions where there are no LEDs on the side only - very subtle.

The golden brown Mahogany on the body is nearly seamless to the neck, do scroll down and take a look at how the back is every bit as pretty as the front.
