  The Orion is a bass that feels as at home in a bar on Friday night playing blues as it does in Church on Sunday morning ringing out its pure bell-like tones. It's a workhorse with versatility. Set neck construction gives a bit more upper midrange "punch" than our neck through models. Maple top keeps the sound crisp, but not even slightly brittle. There's plenty of low end response to balance out the tone. Western Flame Maple top has nice, broad and deep figuring. Paired with a Maple accent laminate and smart Purpleheart pinstripe, the look stays understated. Orion body shape is extremely well balanced on a strap and absolutely comfortable to play while seated.
